I've been wanting to share this set of pictures with you, which I took on a very misty day last Saturday. As you perhaps know from my last post, Ophelia Inspired Flower Crown - Part 1, I've been planning this post for a little while. When I woke up on this particular day to see a dense mist covering everything, I was keen to get outside with my camera and start taking pictures. It was an unusually heavy fog which lasted the entire day. The mist seemed to envelope everything and gave an air of mystery to my surroundings, making even a familiar place seem strange and unrecognisable.
For this outfit, I donned my black fit and flare coat with metallic clasps on the front, which you may remember from my Halloween post (The Witching Hour). I wore everyday clothes in darker tones underneath, so my flower crown would be the centre of attention. With the festive season upon us, I think this look is ideal for a cold evening when you have a function to attend, as the coat provides much-needed warmth, and the flower crown can easily be added to the look for a bohemian touch, without compromising on style or comfort. I added my vintage marcasite deer brooch to my lapel, for an elegant finishing touch.
What do you think of this look? Please leave a comment below and let me know!
Finally, I hope you all have a lovely Christmas break. Season's greetings!
Lots of love Saba xx
